This claims to be the oldest working olive oil press, still in working order, in the world. The axle of the press is made of a seven-ton oak trunk. The oil press itself is Gallo-Roman. A small museum presents the history of Le Vrai Savon de Marseille, the popular olive oil soap of the region. Located about six miles from Gordes in Saint Pantaléon. Ask at the tourist information office in the Castle for directions.
